The Shrine of Our Lady of Trsat, the oldest Marian shrine in Croatia, which is daily visited by numerous pilgrims both from Croatia and abroad. It is known for many answered prayers and pilgrimages involving numerous believers throughout the year, and especially on the Day of the Assumption. The Shrine includes the Church of Our Lady of Trsat, the Franciscan monastery, the Treasury, the Chapel of Votive Gifts, Mary’s Garden and the Pastoral Centre of Pope John Paul II.
