The Rijeka Carnival Corner is one of the centrepieces of the Rijeka Carnival, which revives the city’s storied costumed tradition through a diverse range of programmes. During the carnival season, various city neighbourhoods host dance parties, parades and the raising of Pust, as well as numerous competitions and social activities.

The programme features costumed briscola and tressette tournaments, a bocce tournament and a photo exhibition dedicated to carnivalgoers and opulent costumes. The highlight of the Rijeka Carnival is the Prince and Princess pageant, which symbolically celebrates the joy of children’s carnival.

The Rijeka Carnival Corner blends entertainment, tradition and togetherness, while significantly enhancing the city’s carnival offering and actively engaging the local community.

The programme is held in cooperation with the Rijeka Carnival Association.
