Built within the walls of the Trsat Sanctuary, these terraced gardens dating back to 1927 are a spacious and peaceful place to rest after sightseeing or pilgrimage to Our Lady of Trsat.

In front of the Church of Our Lady of Trsat, a bronze sculpture of Pope John Paul II was erected on May 10, 2005, in honor of his third pastoral visit to Croatia. The sculpture, titled The Trsat Pilgrim, is the work of sculptor Ante Jurkić.

The pastoral center of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Trsat, named Aula John Paul II and designed by Rijeka architect Idis Turato, was opened on June 6, 2008.

Within the complex of the Trsat Sanctuary and monastery, the Stations of the Cross were opened on February 17, 2013. They are the work of academic sculptor Ante Jurkić in collaboration with architect Aleksandar Bašić.
