For the first time this year, the people of Rijeka will get to enjoy winter magic at the indoor ice skating rink!
An ice skating rink spanning 500 m² will be open from 29 November 2025 to 11 January 2026 in the beautiful interior of Exportdrvo.
There is an eventful holiday programme in store for visitors, such as entertainment for children, the greeting of St. Nicholas and Santa Claus, the indelible Disco on Ice, as well as the children’s New Year’s Eve party.
Ice skating lessons will be held for children during the winter break, while special promotional events such as Student Days and Family Days will delight visitors even more.
Come, put on your skates and indulge in a winter experience on ice – because winter in Rijeka has never been more fun!
The programme will also feature a range of food and beverages, with scrumptious homemade “fritule” (doughnuts) and hot cocktails as stand-outs. Also included is the hot cocktail SNOW WHITE presented in an apple.

PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION
Opening ceremony featuring the Medveščak Figure and Roller Skating Club
The Medveščak Figure and Roller Skating Club is the oldest and most renowned figure and roller skating club in Croatia and was founded in 1961. Idora Hegel is the club’s most famous member.
The club organises and hosts the prestigious international figure skating tournament Golden Bear, which has been included in the ISU’s calendar for the past 30 years and brings together numerous skaters from all continents.
Angel&Stitch mascots
The popular entertainment centre Hip Hop in Rijeka features popular children’s characters as mascots on skates. They will be in charge of entertainment and interaction with visitors, who will be able to take pictures with them.
Every Sunday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Little School of Olympism
We are organising the Little School of Olympism in cooperation with Magični Šešir. Accompanied by a kinesiologist, children will engage in various obstacle courses and fun workshops and learn about fair play and Olympic sportsmanship.
Greetings from the North Pole
Zemlja Zabave offers a touch of the North Pole. Visitors young and old will have a jolly good time exploring igloos and other ice attractions with Santa’s little helpers.
Disco on Ice
Glitter, light show, disco ball, music from the 60s to the 90s. You’ll definitely have an ice time here.
Greetings of St. Nicholas and Santa Claus
Featuring entertainers, a hand-out of presents and Saint Nicholas/Santa Claus, obviously.
There will be a fully designed stage with guided games for children.
Infinity Band
One of Rijeka’s most popular cover bands will be performing on 12 December 2025.
Their repertoire (pop, rock, disco, reggae and funk) spans all the way from the 60s (evergreen) to the present day (TOP charts).
Children’s Corner
A mini creative corner with educational colouring books and all the necessary accessories will be a regular feature.
Ice skating lessons
Ice skating lessons will be held during the winter break in cooperation with the SuperKid ice skating school from Zagreb. The instructors are certified coaches who give lessons in accordance with a verified programme.
Daily party programme
In addition to skating pleasure, Rijeka’s top musicians and DJs will make sure to shift the entertainment from the ice to the solid ground of EXPORTDRVO.
