Women’s Weekend

To what extent are women equal in today’s society, and what can be done to improve their standing? This is the central theme of Women’s Weekend, a festival aimed at promoting gender equality that brings together leading figures from the regional and global stages.

The fourth edition of Women’s Weekend will occur from March 5 to 8, 2026, at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rijeka’s Art Quarter.

This festival provides a unique opportunity for women from various fields to come together, share experiences, and offer mutual inspiration and support. Over three days, attendees will engage in inspiring lectures, interactive workshops, and panel discussions, all designed to create a space for learning and personal growth.

Distinguished speakers and panelists will address a range of pressing topics, including women in business, financial independence, the evolution of women’s health, the future of the workplace, and the balance of multiple roles such as motherhood, career, and personal time.

On International Women’s Day, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art and the Art Quarter will transform into a space where everyone feels empowered and supported—a place to discover new ideas, forge new friendships and collaborations, and draw inspiration from the extraordinary stories of women.
