Student International Film Festival (STIFF) 2025.

Founded in 2014, the Student International Film Festival (STIFF) is organized by the Filmaktiv Association and the Student Cultural Center of the University of Rijeka (SKC). As the first Croatian international festival dedicated exclusively to student and debut films, STIFF showcases the finest recent works from emerging filmmakers around the world.

Over the years, the festival has presented more than 450 fiction, documentary, animated, and experimental films from across the globe. By offering a platform for young filmmakers to share their visions, STIFF fosters creative exchange, dialogue, and cross-border collaboration in the fields of film, video, and animation.

All screenings are free of charge, inviting a wide audience to discover outstanding student films and experience the energy, innovation, and authenticity of a new generation of filmmakers.
