Humanitarian Carnival Gala Party

This year again, as an integral part of the Rijeka Carnival, the traditional Humanitarian Carnival Gala Party will take place. It is organised by the City of Rijeka and the Rotary Club St. Vitus Rijeka, with the support of the Rijeka Tourist Board. The Gala Party, or as it was once called, the Carnival Ball, will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, starting at 9 p.m. at the Palace of the Maritime and Historical Museum of the Croatian Littoral in Rijeka. This is the 24th Carnival Ball and the 19th that has a humanitarian purpose. This year it will raise funds for the NGO UZOR conducting activities to aid, support, and protect vulnerable groups to develop a culture of non-violence, tolerance, social solidarity, health promotion, and a society that cares, with a special emphasis on combating domestic violence. Numerous representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in the Republic of Croatia, as well as other distinguished guests, are invited to join us and dance under magnificent masks.
