This year’s Advent Pier officially commences on Friday, 22 November, with the traditional Christmas light switch-on and a grand opening ceremony highlighted by the performance of the electrifying Supercover band and DJ Modrix. This will allow the most popular Advent location in Rijeka to once again shine brightly this year, ready to offer several weeks chock-full of music, entertainment and an unforgettable atmosphere.

Admission to the Advent Pier is completely free of charge throughout the event, while visitors can expect a varied and eventful programme for all ages.

Quiz nights are bound to generate interest, along with an entertainment programme and a chance to win prizes, followed by festive afterparties. Family days are aimed at kids and their parents, providing an opportunity to take pictures with Santa Claus and offering a plethora of activities for children.

If you’re looking for good music and a laid-back atmosphere, each night at the Pier tells a different story:

  • Also scheduled are the Aftermath Mondays, which are the perfect way to stretch out the weekend with easy listening music and great beats,
  • Thursdays – new musical surprises and gastro delights that showcase the creativity of local caterers,
  • Fridays – live performances that will fire up the crowd and elevate the mood,
  • Saturdays – themed Advent parties that guarantee memorable nights,
  • Wednesdays – a special edition with the popular Jablani and the energetic Mid-Week Party.

The gastro offering will be just as lavish with no less than 12 booths offering a wide range of flavours, from traditional Advent dishes to modern culinary innovations, fish and meat specialities, and a variety of desserts and delicacies. Those with a preference for hot beverages can enjoy hot cocktails made with original recipes and classic winter drinks.

Each day at the Pier boasts a unique concept and theme, allowing visitors to experience something new every time they come with their family or friends in search of holiday magic.
