The Oldest Gastronomic Port – Conca d’oro – was established in 1885 and is the oldest continuously operating restaurant in the city. Over the years, it has welcomed industrialists from Rijeka, among a slew of other patrons, including Robert Whitehead, who was a regular fixture. It is still a haunt of many businessmen and aficionados of local delicacies.

The Conca d’Oro restaurant serves traditional meals made with produce grown on local family farms and daily-caught fish. It is located in Rijeka’s historic centre and has continuously operated since 1885.
