Tourist Information Centre

Tourist Information Centre (TIC)

The Tourist Information Centre (TIC) is located at an easily accessible and prominent location on the main Rijeka promenade Korzo, at no. 14 between Rijeka City Hall and the Korzo department store.

The TIC processes and distributes information to visitors, accommodation facilities and other info points in the Kvarner area, while also keeping records of tourists via the e-Visitors app and processing data pursuant to legislative provisions. In addition to playing an important role in collecting, processing and distributing information, the TIC is often the first place where a guest is introduced to our city. That is when the professionally trained tourist information officers come in, providing high-quality and useful information. The tourist information officers receive various inquiries, some of which do not even have anything to do with tourism, but nevertheless strive to provide guests with the necessary information, much to their mutual satisfaction. As the old adage goes – “only a satisfied guest returns to the same place” – and by this we mean our city, of course. In order to expedite and streamline the information flow during the summer, when guests ask the most questions, outworkers (students) are employed after completing professional training for tourist information officers. Of course, the TIC remains at the disposal of foreign and domestic tourists, as well as the residents of our city, by dispensing detailed information about the city, various brochures, guides and maps.
