Notice on conducting rapid antigen tests for tourists

Information has been published on the official website of the Institute of Public Health PGŽ https://www.zzjzpgz.hr that from Friday, August 6, 2021. starting with the implementation of rapid antigen tests for tourists at a price of HRK 40.00 .

As before, tourists can be tested at the Institute’s branches in Opatija, Crikvenica, Krk, Cres, Mali Lošinj, Rab and Delnice, and at the Institute’s headquarters in Rijeka (address: Krešimirova 52a, Rijeka).
Tourists who have a voucher or a certificate from the eVisitor system about the overnight stay with which they can prove that they stayed at a commercial accommodation facility for at least 3 nights have the right to use the above tests. Tourists can get a certificate of stay at the facility where they are staying (hotel, campsite, household facility, etc.).

You can request the issuance of EU digital COVID certificates:

– via the official website www.eudigitalnacovidpotvrda.hr
– via the e-Citizens portal by selecting the area ZDRAVLJE from the catalog of services (by selecting the EU e-Service digital COVID confirmation and then following the application steps)
– or in the HZZO branches, upon presentation of an identification document

“Safe stay in Croatia” project

With the aim of branding Croatia as a safe destination, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the Croatian Tourist Board launched a project to award safety marks – “Safe stay in Croatia”.
All those who undertake to operate in accordance with special instructions and protocols prescribed by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports in a special document will be able to receive the “Safe stay in Croatia” label for their facilities (they can be read on safestayincroatia.hr when applying for the label).
The label can be obtained in the following way:
Interested tourism stakeholders (catalysts, accommodation providers, travel agencies…) register on the website www.safestayincroatia.hr where they fill in all the necessary information and apply for the label. Upon acceptance of all conditions and regulations for obtaining the label, after the Ministry of Tourism and Sports verifies the application, the applicant will receive a confirmation of approval of the application for obtaining the label.
Upon receipt of confirmation from the Ministry of Tourism and Sports that the request has been accepted, the applicants will receive the “Safe stay in Croatia” label in digital form, and the sticker in physical form can be picked up at the local tourist association that operates in the area where the subject is located, i.e. where provides services in tourism (exclusively upon presentation of a confirmation from the Ministry of Tourism and Sports that the request has been accepted).

In order to make the reach of this campaign as large as possible, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the Croatian Tourist Board will carry out the following activities: implementation of a promotional campaign, creation of websites as a central place for informing the public about the safety protocols developed through the Project, which will be translated into 8 foreign languages , a list of entities that have been awarded the compliance mark, the creation of 7 protocol video materials that will be used for campaigns on the domestic and foreign markets, the creation of protocol gifts for media representatives, and the creation and delivery of the compliance mark.

PCR testing for COVID-19

PCR testing with payment. Price of testing: HRK 490.00.
Orders are accepted every day until 3 pm on 051 658 844 or pcr-covid@kbc-rijeka.hr.

Anyone interested can contact the email rapidcovidtest@domzdravlja-pgz.hr, in which the following information must be provided: first and last name, place and address of residence and telephone number.
Upon receipt of the email, the employees of the Health Center of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County will contact the user as soon as possible and will arrange the place and date of the test.
Testing is carried out in the following period:
Monday – Friday: 07:30 – 14:30 (break from 11:00 – 11:30)
The results of the testing are available after 30 minutes.
The price of the test is HRK 150 (payable in cash at the place of testing).
Questionnaires were prepared for testing in English, German, Italian and Slovenian.
Dom zdravlja PGŽ organized the possibility of testing on Saturdays in Rijeka at the macrocenter office on Zamet (basement) at the address Bože Vidasa 16a from 9 am to 11 am.
All those interested must first contact the email rapidcovidtest@domzdravlja-pgz.hr, in which the following information must be provided: first and last name, place and address of residence, and telephone number.
The Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Health Center also conducts a serological test for the presence of antibodies to the COVID-19 virus.
The serological test is performed at the headquarters at Krešimirova 52a in Rijeka.
Testing is done from Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Upon arrival, it is necessary to fill out the following questionnaire.
The results of the test are delivered by email, during the same working day.
The price of the test is HRK 130.
